Fahlgren Mortine Recognized Nationally as a Best Place to Work
COLUMBUS, Ohio (November 30, 2012) – Capping a year full of national awards and honors, Fahlgren Mortine was recognized by PR News on November 29 as one of the publication’s Best Places to Work in PR. At a reception at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., the agency accepted its award alongside 29 other winning organizations, including corporations, not-for-profits, and agencies such as Zappos, The Walt Disney Company, Cisco, and Ogilvy.
Such attributes as professional development, quality work, philanthropy and culture stood out to the review panel, comprised of public relations executives and PR News staff. In what was one of the program’s highest entry years in history, applicants were required to answer questions about workplace culture, opportunities for advancement, mentoring programs, communication with supervisors, diversity and benefits, among other topics.
“While this award comes from a publication that has historically covered the public relations industry,” said Neil Mortine, president and CEO of Fahlgren Mortine, “it is an honor that recognizes the work, commitment and most importantly, the people that make up all of Fahlgren Mortine, and is an accomplishment that makes us all proud. In a marketing and communications world that is ever more integrated, national recognition like this helps us continue to attract the best associates and clients to further our agency vision and growth.”
