PRWeek Names Fahlgren Mortine Agency of the Year Finalist
COLUMBUS, Ohio (January 30, 2012) – PRWeek, a leading communications industry publication, has named Fahlgren Mortine one of five finalists for its 2012 Small Agency of the Year award. The PRWeek Awards are presented annually to the best corporate, nonprofit, agency and education teams and the work they produce. Fahlgren Mortine was selected as a finalist based upon factors including the agency’s unique culture, community service, and integrated marketing and communications offering.
Additionally, Cari Steiner, senior account executive at Fahlgren Mortine, has been named a finalist in the Young PR Professional of the Year category.
The PRWeek judging panel is made up of senior professionals from agency, corporate, nonprofit, education and government backgrounds. The PRWeek Awards 2012 presentation dinner will take place on March 1, 2012 in New York City.
“We were blown away by the news that PRWeek judges chose us as a finalist,” said Neil Mortine, president and CEO of Fahlgren Mortine. “To be recognized with one of the top honors bestowed by a leading industry publication is a proud moment for our agency, but it should really come as no surprise, given the talent of every one of our associates and the caliber of the results-oriented work we do with our valued clients.“
This recognition caps off a year full of third-party recognition for Fahlgren Mortine, including being named Bulldog Reporter’s Small Agency of the Year and receiving numerous national awards for work completed with various clients. Last year also saw the agency re-inventing itself, combining advertising, digital, media and public relations groups into one seamless integrated marketing and communications offering. In 2012, the agency will celebrate its 50th anniversary.
