Cooper Tires can perform on any track. How do we get them to perform in a tough marketplace and even tougher economy?

With the worst economic environment for tire sales in generations, Cooper Tire needed to generate some excitement. So Fahlgren Mortine created the “Take the Money and Ride” sales event. With TV, radio, point-of-sale, email blasts and a microsite all promoting a rebate offer, the campaign drove consumers to Cooper dealers to experience Cooper tires firsthand. In addition, Fahlgren Mortine also handled the program’s fulfillment process.

The campaign did its job and then some. Coopertire.com experienced an 18 percent increase in traffic compared to the same time the previous year and more than a couple hundred thousand rebate requests were received, which equates to several hundred thousand tires sold through dealer channels. In addition, the consumer satisfaction with the rebate fulfillment process was incredibly high.
