Aminah's World
How does an artist’s work transcend her media to reach her global audience and local community?
We designed and implemented AminahsWorld.org website, which complements the artwork of artist Aminah Brenda Lynn Robinson, while providing international access to the artwork, archives, and oral histories. Through its interactive tools, "Create Your Own Art" and "Share Your Ideas,” and exemplary educational resources, teachers, students and families have a collaborative, educational community. Inspiring one 91-year old teacher from Liverpool, England to become a "computer artist" after using the site and Aminah's work to support her high school curriculum on slavery and the Middle Passage.
