How does a fire safety product manufacturer turn newly passed legislation into newly acquired sales?
Kidde wanted to increase sales in three states with newly required legislation mandating carbon monoxide (CO) devices by blanketing them with CO safety messages. To do that, we developed a campaign “Don’t Wait Until It’s Too Late,” created a website KnowAboutCO.com, and we partnered with a third-party expert to help promote the message via a variety of media strategies.
The campaign generated sales increases of up to 700 percent in target markets, and the number of media hits Kidde received more than doubled.
